Tuesday Tantrums - a tribute to Sully

A friend of mine died the other day. We didn’t know each other well, but he was my friend. We’d talk on the phone and laugh and commiserate. Apples, Turds, and Fishing

One of my guilty pleasures is Apples and yeah, it’s only August 12 th , but damn if I am not already thinking about the apple harvest. My family and I are so lucky that there are a ton of orchards nearby to take advantage of. Between the apples, apple cider, apple donuts, apple cakes, and any other baked good they can come up with is awesome. My mouth is already watering and I gotta wait til October. Damn. Advice . According to the Farmer’s Almanac, todays advice of the day is “To avoid dying, never shave at night.” CFB . As we dive deeper into August, we now know that there will be almost no College Football, at least in the Autumn and while that sucks, I don’t really care about the power five conferences anyway. It’s the same old shit in a different season. But what I do see as intriguing is this rumor I continue to hear about possibly Ohio State might be a part of an SEC this autumn to play in that conference. ...

Fridays, Hell, Politicians, and more about Summer

Welp, It’s Friday. Ain’t got no job, and don’t have shit to do except to write some drivel. So let’s get to it. So as Smokey said in the movie, “The weed be lettin’ ya know…evil lurks.” So what evil is out there? Evil #1 – The Cuyahoga . Damn man, that river caught fire again? 14 times it went on fire? Well according to Barstool a fuel tanker crashed on a highway and the ensuing fire leaked into the river via storm drains. Look, bashing Cleveland isn’t sport anymore – but if you were in Hell, the chances are the Cuyahoga River is going to be right there for you to swim in. Evil #2 – MTV Awards . Good Lord, who are you kidding with this? First off, MTV stopped playing music around, oh, I don’t know, 1990? Talk about Hell, while you're swimming in the Cuyahoga, you can listen to this shit. MTV may have been the worst thing for music - perhaps ever, even worse than Lawrence Welk....
