So, what’s pissed me off this week? Given the behavior of our politicians these days, I really don’t blame Al Bundy for thinking this or for Seals to stay in the water and say “Land? Nah, I’m good in the water, or maybe the land when none of you humans are around.”
Atlanta gave that game to Dallas and Cowpattie fan needs to slow their roll. They aren’t “back” or “going to the Super Bowl” – that’s typical bullshit hype for America’s team. Speaking of that travesty – I honestly tried to watch the NFL Network Post Game Show last night, but front and center was that buffoon Michael Irvin yapping about Cowboy Haters and shit like that. Michael – just CALMLY talk about the game. Yes, we all know you are a Dallas homer, but the shit I saw last night on the NFL Network completely turned me off. I WILL NOT watch that show again until I know he’s off it. Yeah yeah, I know – “Bye Felicia.” It’s all good. Can we bring back ESPN “Prime Time” with Berman and Jackson – no-nonsense just talking about the games.
As for Cold-lanta, coaches and those on special teams on that on-sides kick should be cut today! Oh, and then there’s that freaking ALLEGED defense that gave up a three TD lead. You gotta feel for Matt Ryan and Julio Jones and the rest of that offense – they bust their ass to cover and this is their reward year after year? And I can’t even begin to imagine how Falcon fans feel right about now.
OK, now we come to Met Life Stadium and the complaints by San Francisco
about that turf. Now normally I would
dismiss it as yapping, but damn if there wasn’t so many injuries to the 69ers yesterday. And now in a scheduling
quirk, San Francisco goes back to the same stadium one week later to play the
New York Midgets (err, Giants). Of
course if I was them I would be concerned.
I had no skin in the game last night, but Seattle/New England was a solid one, but what the hell was that final play? Everybody and their brother knew Cam was going over/through the left side from one yard out, so what does Seattle do? Of course, they load up the line. It was clear to this novice – why the hell didn’t BB call a timeout and/or adjust the play? Tackle eligible? Toss to the TE on the right side? Cam running to the right on an option? C’mon man…
Hey Kansas City, you might want to focus on your offensive line this week at practice. Jesus, they almost cost you that game with all their holding and false starts on that final drive. The only thing that saved your ass was the Kicker.
Speaking of O-Lines – let’s get to Minny. What the hell was that? How many more years/decades does the O-Line
have to be mentioned? Yes, it’s clear
they can at least somewhat support the run, but you can just forget about the
passing game. And yo, Kirk Cousins, if
you are feeling heat in the end zone, don’t take the fucking safety, throw the
ball away. Why weren’t you running it
out of the shadow of the goal anyway?
On to Basketball. Hey Denver, OK you gave away Game two with that Anthony Davis three, but take his histrionics after the game winner and put it on your bulletin board. Use that and beat the holy hell out of the Fakers in Game Three.
Memo to all remaining NBA teams – if you are struggling with your three
point shot – the answer isn’t to shoot 40 more, start working the ball inside
and draw the defense in. Start winning
the old fashioned way.
Chicago. So nobody gives a fuck that the place has gone back to the Al Capone era and shooting up everything and everybody in sight. Well that is until now – the Post Office is about to stop delivering mail there because their letter carriers keep getting shot up. Hey Post Office, if my employees have a history of getting shot up, I’m stopping delivery period – long before this and all you’re doing is talking about it.
Supreme Court. Really? You a-holes are already talking about replacing a seat and the lady who was in it wasn’t even dead an hour? You suck.
Politics. I read a poll today that the veteran down in Kentucky is leading Mitch McConnell. Please Lord, let her win. I don’t agree with her on a lot, but McConnell has got to go. Please Kentucky, kick him the hell out. Please Kentucky – restore my faith. California won’t vote out Pelosi or McCarthy, and New York damn sure won’t drop Schumer, and NY gave us the middle finger by allowing that twit AOC to stay.
